« Transferts critiques anglophones » (TransCrit) is an interdisciplinary research center in the field of the humanities. In it, the various disciplines of anglophone studies work together. Its members share a common interest in the theoretical and epistemological dimension of critical research carried out in the fields of literature, the history of English-speaking areas, English linguistics, and translation. It collaborates nationally and internationally with researchers and research centers working on other cultures, literatures, and disciplines in relation with the English-speaking world. TransCrit has also played an essential role in setting up Masters’ programs in collaboration with other disciplines (Masters in Literature, History, Language Sciences, Media studies, Translation studies and Intercultural studies).

TransCrit is affiliated with the Doctoral School "Pratiques et théories du sens".
