BAUDON Jeanne
Jeanne Baudon is a PhD student in American civilization at the Université Paris 8 Vincennes - Saint-Denis in the doctoral school 31 Pratiques et Théories du sens under the supervision of Professor Bertrand Van Ruymbeke. Her research focuses on the study of women’s political rights during the American Revolution (1776-1807).
During her Master LLCER in English : "English-speaking worlds : cultural dynamics and pluralities", Jeanne notably studied the women’s suffrage movement in the United States (1866-1920) and the place of American women in the professional sphere during the second wave of feminism (1960s-late 1970s).
Member of the Société Française d’Etude du XVIIIe siècle (SFEDS), of the Société d’Études Anglo-Américaines des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles (SEAA 17-18), and of the REDEHJA association (RÉseau pour le Développement Européen de l’Histoire de la Jeune Amérique, 1607-1865).
