Seynabou Thiam-Pereira is a PhD, since 2023. In her thesis, "The Heart of your knowledge is in your roots." Les réfugiés loyalistes noirs dans les provinces de Nouvelle-Ecosse, du Nouveau-Brunswick et de l’Île-du-Prince-Edouard en Amérique du Nord britannique : étude comparative d’une communauté en exil (1775-1815), she examines the migration of Free Blacks to three areas in British North America at the end of the 18th century. This study intersects migratory, social, religious, and political history.
