GOLROKHI Ayda

Ayda Golrokhi holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Paris 8. She completed her thesis project, titled Rewriting the Nation : Transcultural Poetics in the Literature of the Iranian Diaspora (1997-2017), under the supervision of Professor Claire Joubert. Her research, which began in 2018 and was finalized in 2024, focuses on transcultural dynamics in Iranian diaspora literature.

Throughout her doctoral journey, Ayda Golrokhi taught English at the University of Paris 8 Language Center (from September 2018 to September 2024). Her teaching responsibilities included :

  • English courses for psychology students,
  • TOEFL and TOEIC preparation,
  • General English courses.

Additionally, she worked as a linguistic mediation coordinator at the University of Paris 8 Library (from January 2023 to May 2023), where she played a key role in assisting international students with access to academic resources.

In parallel, Ayda Golrokhi was a member of the scientific and organizing committees for the 13th Doctoral Students’ Day (JDD) in 2021 at the University of Paris 8. She actively contributed to the event’s preparation and the publication that followed.
