About

My research is in the areas of lexical semantics, ecolinguistics, emotional intelligence, discourse analysis, and intercultural communication in relation to the environment. I received my PhD in English Linguistics from the University of Strasbourg, specializing in Cognitive Linguistics.

My research is often interdisciplinary and encompasses approaches from affective science, philosophy, and sociocultural studies. I am particularly interested in the following topics :

- Social challenges and environmental crises

  Ocean sustainability

  Sustainable urban infrastructure

  Emotional well-being in megacities

Everyday aesthetics and the living environment

My current research project draws on a blend of cognitive semantics and ecolinguistics to explore how language and culture shape the human-nature interactions in urban green-blue infrastructure in megacities. Through this project, I advocate for the relevance of language-focused research for responding better to ecological and social issues.

My teaching focuses mainly on English for specific purposes. In my work as a translator, I specialize in technical topics, marketing and tourism.
