Bilingual reading of excerpts from Erasure /Effacement, of a selection of poems from Swimming Swimmers Swimming, and of excerpts from Percival Everett’s latest novel, Percival Everett by Virgil Russell.
 
 Percival Everett is a writer and currently a Distinguished Professor of English at the University of Southern California.

 He has written seventeen novelsso far, among whichZulus (1990), God’s Country (1994), Frenzy (1997), Glyph (1999), Erasure (2001), The Water Cure (2007), I Am Not Sidney Poitier (2009), Assumption (2011) and Percival Everett by Virgil Russell (2013).

 He is also the author of a novella, three collections of short stories and of Swimming Swimmers Swimming (2011), his third book of poetry.
 Percival Everett is the recipient of many awards, among which the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award for fiction, which he received twice (for Erasure and I am Not Sidney Poitier).
